In an email communication sent out by LinkedIn to its customers and subscribers today, it has been noted that starting today Tweets will no longer be displayed on LinkedIn. “Any conversation you start on Twitter will no longer be automatically shared with your LinkedIn network, even if you synced your LinkedIn and Twitter accounts,” it was emphasized.
So users posting on twitter would not be able to send their tweets as updates directly to LinkedIn. However, the vice-versa would continue to be possible. “Moving forward, you will still be able to share updates with your Twitter audience by posting them on LinkedIn,” LinkedIn has said.
Citing a reason for this change, the communication explained, “Twitter recently evolved its strategy and this will result in a change to the way Tweets appear in third-party applications. Starting today Tweets will no longer be displayed on LinkedIn.”
