Nvidia seems to have gained a good deal of spotlight almost overnight, on the back of recent announcements that some of the most promising Android tablets are being based on the Tegra 2 processors.

The most significant of these devices are Adam from Bangalore-based Notion Ink, XOOM from Motorola and Streak from Dell.

Another good news for Nvidia is its recent settlement with leading chip maker Intel, by which Nvidia will receive a bounty of USD 1.5 billion from Intel.

The gains are well reflected in the action at brokerage houses, with quite a few of them raising their price targets on the stock up to as high as USD27 while also upgrading the stock.
