Did you recently notice that you can use up and down arrow keys to move from one search result to the next? Also, the right arrow key can be used to highlight contents of a search entry, while the enter key can be used to load the page for that entry.

These keyboard shortcuts are features from “Experimental Search,” a Google Labs entry, and have started to trickle into mainstream search.

I had first tried out these features at Google Labs about two years ago and it’s good to see Google rolling these out.

You will, however, be able to play with these features only if you have a Google account and have logged in.
